Meanwhile, Daniel discovers Bethany’s betrayal.
Here’s a look at 11 big moments coming up.
1. Tracy is caught acting suspiciously with Tommy
With Steve due back the next day, Tracy tells Tommy to call in at the flower shop as it’s the last chance they’ll have to spend time together.
Meanwhile, Steve arrives home unexpectedly and confides to Ken and Amy that he’s determined to put the spark back into his marriage.
At the shop, Tracy locks the door and gives into temptation with Tommy. The pair receive a shock when Steve arrives at the door, asking Tracy to let him in. Will Steve uncover Tracy’s affair?
2. Damon goes behind Ed’s back
With the fire now confirmed as an accident, Ed is free to make an insurance claim for the damage.
Dee-Dee instructs Ed to make a list of everything destroyed in the fire for the insurance company, but when Damon learns what Ed is up to, he suggests Ed submit an inflated claim.
Ed shoots down Damon’s illegal suggestion but once Ed goes to the bar, Damon secretly grabs the form.
3. Adam teases a mystery case
On Sarah’s birthday, Adam rages when he spots Sarah helping Damon move his things into her flat.
Later, Adam is again infuriated to witness Damon raise a toast to Sarah’s birthday as he celebrates it with the Platts.
Meanwhile, Adam asks Dee-Dee and Joel for advice on a firearms case he’s taken on and is later pleased when the pair tell him that they’ve potentially found a way to crack the case.
4. Sarah asks Adam for a divorce
At Damon’s insistence, Sarah tells Adam it’s time they discussed the terms of their divorce. Adam masks his upset and reveals that he wants the flat sold – not wanting to see Damon live in their old home.
However, Adam seethes when Sarah agrees to the sale and informs him that she and Damon are planning to buy a house together.
5. Adam is stunned by Harvey’s plan
Adam pays a visit to Harvey to discuss the appeal and reveals that the only way they can assure Harvey’s release is to pin Natasha’s murder on someone else.
Adam receives a call from Harvey and is surprised to learn that a man is willing to confess to Natasha’s murder. When he goes to visit the man, John, at Weatherfield General, Adam is horrified to learn that he’s a cancer patient.
Later in the week, Adam accompanies John to the police station to give his confession.
6. Leanne worries about Simon
With Simon suffering from a hangover, Leanne makes excuses to Nick and tells Simon to take the day off.
Concerned about Simon’s recent behaviour, Leanne tells Simon that she’s worried about him and fears that he’s drinking too much.
However, when Bobby plans a party to cheer Simon up, Simon can’t resist another night of drinking.
7. Simon has a car accident
Feeling worse for wear after the party, Simon takes a swig of vodka the morning after.
Meanwhile, as Nick and Toyah head out on an errand, Nick asks Simon to drive Sam to his chess competition.
Hiding his hangover from Nick, Simon heads off with Sam, but loses control of the car and crashes into a road sign. Panicked, Simon tells Sam to get out and run.
Later, Simon confesses to Leanne that he damaged her car but refuses to report the incident to the police. Leanne is horrified to learn that he was over the limit and placed himself and Sam in danger.
8. Bethany tells Daniel the truth
After her English lesson with Lauren, Bethany uses the opportunity to press Lauren for more info about Daisy and Ryan. Lauren happily provides the gossip to Bethany – unaware that Bethany is recording the conversation.
However, Bethany’s moneymaking plot is uncovered when Daniel answers a call from the editor of Chit-Chat magazine on Bethany’s phone. Bethany is forced to reveal that she has submitted an article about Daniel, Daisy and Ryan.
9. Dee-Dee confronts Damon
Dee-Dee is shocked to learn that Damon went behind Ed’s back and submitted a fraudulent claim to the insurance company.
She confronts Damon and lays into him, but is worried when Damon makes it clear he knows she also broke the law in order to help Ed.
10. Joel is rattled by a face from his past
With Dee-Dee feeling the pressure at work, Joel offers to help her out by attending a meeting with a new client on her behalf.
However, Joel’s meeting doesn’t go according to plan when it’s gate-crashed by the arrival of a woman called Emily, who’s angry with him. Spooked by Emily’s sudden appearance, Joel tries to usher her out of the Bistro.
The strange encounter doesn’t go unnoticed by Toyah, who is intrigued by Joel’s encounter with the mystery woman.
11. Nick plans to propose
The reason behind Nick enlisting Toyah’s help for a secret shopping trip becomes clear when they return home with an engagement ring for Leanne.
Toyah admires the ring, while Leanne remains oblivious to what they pair have been up to. Will the engagement go to plan?
