ITV Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ Bethany’s link to Lauren’s disappearance

Coronation Street fans think Bethany Platt is hiding something linked to Lauren Bolton’s disappearance after a clue in a recent episode.

Lauren is feared dead after going missing last month, with blood splatters and human tissue found in her flat. DI Swain claimed to murder suspect Roy Cropper that given the evidence found, she had likely been hit over the head as the blood and tissue found was consistent with blunt head trauma.

There’s a number of theories regarding what happened to Lauren and who might be involved, with nothing confirmed. Viewers are still in the dark over whether she is really dead and if someone killed her, or if she is alive and in hiding.

She had a mystery ex-boyfriend who was harassing her and even physically harming her it seems, after secret visits to her flat – so has he taken Lauren? Lauren had an O-Vidz account, with her uploading adult content to subscribers.

Whether someone subscribing to her account is involved remains unknown. Residents including Max Turner and Bobby Crawford are under suspicion according to viewers, while the police are investigating Roy as well as Daniel Osbourne.

The other idea is that her vanishing act is linked to her father, who is in prison after his crimes with a far-right group. Lauren had planned to speak out to a magazine about being groomed by the gang in a chat with Bethany just days before she went missing.

So with Bethany receiving threats from Lauren’s contacts, could someone linked to the group be involved? Viewers are now wondering if Bethany herself is linked to her vanishing act and may know where the teen is.

When Daniel asked girlfriend Bethany in a recent episode about Roy’s arrest, she appeared to pull a face and fans suggested she was acting suspiciously. While some wondered if Bethany may have hurt Lauren, other fans think it’s more likely she helped her go into hiding.
