Coronation Street’s Claire Sweeney and Ricky Hatton appeared very loved up during a wholesome holiday to Tenerife.
The Cassie Plummer actress, 52, and the ex pro boxer, 45, previously enjoyed a romantic date last month with pictures showing the pair looking loved-up with their arms around each other.
A source claimed: ‘They became friends on Dancing On Ice and really hit it off.’
They added to The Sun: ‘It’s since become romantic and they’ve enjoyed a few dates. It’s early days but they’ve got a spark and have been having a great time.’

Former Dancing on Ice star Adele Roberts commented a string of heart emojis in response, while @pearcey225 added: ‘Hope you had a great time away. You both look so very happy. So pleased for you.’
Claire previously opened up about wanting to find love, telling The Mirror’s Invite Only podcast: ‘I really want to be with someone who makes me laugh. Someone who’s kind. Someone I will click with.
‘So, someone like that, it just wouldn’t be about aesthetics – OK, there’s an initial attraction but I want it to be more than aesthetics, that’s the type of person I’m looking for.’
Claire’s character Cassie’s storyline saw her discover mum Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) had been living with Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and his family for years. Due to her daughter’s history with drugs, Evelyn was reluctant to introduce Cassie to the Stape/Dobbs family – but she had other ideas.
Making her way to Weatherfield, chaotic Cassie found Tyrone and said that she’s his mum. This left Tyrone stunned, as he had spent his life under the impression his birth mother had died.
Moving past the secrets and lies, Tyrone decided to get to know Cassie, but things weren’t easy.
In recent months, however, Cassie has slowly shown her family that even though she makes mistakes, building relationships with her loved ones is incredibly important to her.
