Coronation Street confirms major exit as killer Joel makes unexpected move in new spoiler videos
Coronation Street delivers more shocks next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with a major cast exit on the cards while Joel Deering (Calum Lill) makes another unexpected move.
The departure is none other than Simon Barlow (Alex Bain), who leaves the eponymous street after 15 years, with Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) set to be left reeling.
Joel, meanwhile, who was revealed to be Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) killer earlier this week, makes quite an unexpected move as he pops the question to an unsuspecting Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown).
But just what will Dee-Dee say?

Monday June 3
Leanne returns home from her retreat with the Institute later than planned, with Nick keen to find out why she hadn’t been in touch. Leanne explains that the retreat ran overtime and then she was encouraged to stay off her phone to remain ‘in the zone’.
Ken’s presence grasps Leanne’s attention, with the returnee keen to find out why he is over at her flat. Ken reveals that he’s there to say goodbye to Simon. Leanne is confused, with Simon explaining that he’s leaving the Street – which comes as a huge shock.
Wednesday June 5
Dee-Dee returns to her flat after dinner with Joel’s parents didn’t go as planned, with his mum’s words proving incredibly hurtful towards her.
Joel stops by the flat in a bid to see if she’s okay and, after giving it some thought, he gets down on one knee and pops the question.
Dee-Dee is absolutely speechless. But just what will she say?
Friday June 7
Bethany is stunned to find out that someone has been using the company credit card from an old job she had – despite the fact that she herself is still in possession of the card!
Will she be able to put a stop to the fraud? And just who is to blame for the crime?
