Fiz Stape horrified as she comes face to face with Tyrone Dobb’s other woman in Coronation Street
The returning actress confirms if her character still has lingering feelings
FIZ Stape will be left gobsmacked after she bumps into one of her husband Tyrone’s exes next week in Coronation Street.
After Tyrone’s affair with Alina Pop ended, he finally married Fiz on Christmas Day in 2022 and have enjoyed marital bliss since, but when Alina rocks up with his child, their world is turned upside down.
Before Fiz and Tyrone reunited, Tyrone cheated on Fiz with Alina Pop, who arrived on the cobbles in a harrowing storyline about modern slavery.
After there affair was exposed, Tyrone and Alina got engaged, but Tyrone’s daughters Hope and Ruby struggled to accept Alina and Hope even killed Alina’s unborn baby by starting a fire in their flat.
But when Alina fell pregnant with Tyrone’s baby again, he admitted that he wanted to get back together with Fiz, leaving Alina heartbroken.
Alina then left the cobbles and told Tyrone that she was returning to Romania to raise their child alone.
Upcoming scenes will see Fiz come face to face with Alina since her departure three years ago.
She bumps into Alina in Fresco’s car park, who explains she’s been called as a witness in a trial.
But will she tell Tyrone his ex is back in Weatherfield?
Alina actress Ruxandra Porojnicu, 31, told the press: “Alina is back in Weatherfield because she’s a witness in a trial against traffickers and she feels like she should avoid Tyrone and Fiz!
“I think she is curious to see Tyrone and speak with him again because she had feelings for him and he was a very important person in her life at one point.
“But I would say if it wasn’t for the court case, she would have chosen to not come back at this time.”
But does Alina still have feelings for Tyrone?
The actress revealed: “I think because she saw herself building a life with him and they went through a lot – a lot of trauma – which bonded them together.
“I think she still has feelings for him but different types of feelings. I think he’ll always mean something to her but just on a different level.”
