Coronation Street spoilers: Shocking twist as Adam Barlow and Harvey Gaskell frame someone else for Natasha’s murder
Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) completely goes against his moral compass in Coronation Street next week and prepares to frame a cancer patient for Natasha Blakeman’s murder.
Sam’s (Jude Riordan) mum Natasha died in 2021. She was shot by Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), who broke out of prison and returned to Weatherfield with the intention of killing Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).
Natasha got caught in the crossfire due a case of mistaken identity. When Harvey arrived back on the cobbles, he spotted Leanne wearing a Halloween outfit, but had no idea Natasha was wearing the same one.
The gun went off, leaving Harvey faced with returning to prison, this time for a longer sentence after history as a drug dealer.
Recently, Adam paid a visit to Harvey in prison and agreed to a deal with him. Essentially, Harvey will get rid of Adam’s enemy Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) and in return, the solicitor will help Harvey with an appeal case surrounding Natasha’s murder.
Coming up, Adam runs through the appeal plan for Harvey and points out the only way to be sure of success if if they pin Natasha’s murder on someone else.
Harvey later calls Adam, telling him a man called John Perry is willing to confess to Natasha’s murder.
Finding John at Weatherfield General Hospital, Adam is utterly horrified to realise that the man he’s faced with is a cancer patient.
But if this plan fails and the court still believes Harvey is guilty, where will this leave Adam?
