Coronation Street’s Bobby Crawford worries for Lauren Bolton after bruise discovery
Lauren's friends are concerned for her safety.
Bobby Crawford has expressed his concern for Lauren Bolton after discovering bruises on her body in Coronation Street.
There have been troubling signs that Lauren’s relationship with her mysterious boyfriend may be unhealthy, especially as she’s simultaneously struggled with serious financial issues.
In Friday’s (February 16) episode, Lauren called the mystery man to tell him she no longer needed his money even though she’d received an overdue bill from her energy company.
Lauren tried to take her mind off her troubles by accepting a date with Bobby, yet it was revealed that she’d been making videos for O-Vidz, when Max and Sabrina found her dressed sexily at her flat.
She was quick to try to put them at ease, insisting she knew full well what she was doing posing for the risque site. Bobby turned up shortly after that, so Lauren ushered a concerned Max and Sabrina away.

The two started to get comfortable, but as Bobby went to pull off Lauren’s top, he was alarmed to see she had bruises on her shoulder.
Later, Bobby met up with Sabrina and Max to see if they could help Lauren out of her troubling situation.
“Have either of you ever actually met this ex of hers?” Bobby asked the couple.
When Sabrina and Max admitted they’d never met the mysterious ex-boyfriend, Bobby revealed that Lauren had “all these bad bruises all over”.
Bobby asked if someone could be hurting Lauren, so Max and Sabrina came clean about Lauren making videos for O-Vidz.
“I may be completely wrong, but I’m wondering if this cam-ing might have turned into some in-person sex work,” Max wondered.

With Max mentioning Lauren also had some private tutoring sessions with Daniel Osbourne, Bobby was left unsure of what to think.
Earlier this week, Cait Fitton confirmed that the mystery surrounding her character Lauren’s boyfriend will be running through 2024.
“With the whole boyfriend thing, I can’t say too much but it is going to unfold over the next year potentially. It’s a heavy storyline but Coronation Street always smash the hard-hitting stuff, so I’m really excited,” she told The Sun.
