Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) makes an alarming discovery about Joel Deering (Calum Lill) in Coronation Street soon as the aftermath of his suspicious and sudden death begins.
Joel started to fear he wasn’t going to get away with his endless crimes when Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) managed to find evidence that proved he got Betsy (Sydney Martin) to buy the tablets that put Lauren (Cait Fitton) in early labour.
Unable to leave the country due to his bail conditions, Joel was trapped.
In the episode of the ITV soap that aired tonight, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) received a voice note from Joel and believed it was a suicide note.
Through Joel’s phone signal, Kit managed to pinpoint his last whereabouts and found his car on a bridge with a note on the dashboard.
With the police beginning a search for his body, Lisa found the notebook from Joel’s suicide note in the living room and suggested it was all pre-planned.
Due to the fact Joel’s body hasn’t been found just yet, other theories start to circulate regarding what has happened to him.
In the police station, Dee-Dee sees Joel’s dad and suggests that his son has gone on the run. Swain steps in and tells Dee-Dee that she needs to accept Joel is dead.
As the investigation into Joel’s disappearance and ‘death’ continues, Kit downloads the files from Joel’s laptop.
Completely horrified by what he finds, he calls Swain straight away.
But what will the files reveal?
And will we ever find out what really happened to Joel?
