Coronation Street serves up another tense and emotional week for the residents of the cobbles, not to mention the viewers at home, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos.
The game is up for Joel Deering (Calum Lill) at last as Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) makes an interesting discovery following a trip to the hospital to see Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).
The question is: can she find any evidence to prove her theory that her beau isn’t the nice guy he’s making out to be?
Elsewhere, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) has enough of her job as she walks out of the bistro, with sinister Rowan Cunliffe having manipulated her, much to the shock of Nick Tilsley(Ben Price) and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
And Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) fears the worst when Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) reveals his intention to persuade ex Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) to move back to Weatherfield with their son Dorin.
It sounds like quite the week, right?
It most certainly is and, lucky for you, you needn’t wait until Monday to get your first look at the drama as I’ve got three brand new spoiler videos, just for you.
Monday August 19
Dee-Dee pays Lauren a visit at the hospital, bringing a little cuddly toy along for the baby. She quizzes her on a time when Joel represented her, with Lauren stating that he was the duty solicitor.
Dee-Dee continues to dig for information and she’s left reeling when Lauren reveals that she’s moving to Belfast, recalling how Joel previously received a notification on his phone asking him about the very same location.
Is dodgy Joel’s time finally up? Will Dee-Dee discover that he’s the father of Lauren’s baby?
Wednesday August 21
Fiz is reeling when she learns that Tyrone has sought legal advice over custody of Dorin, reiterating that there’s no way Alina would leave the child on the street with him.
Tyrone, however, clarifies that he hopes Alina stays too – for Dorin’s sake. Fiz fights tears, worried that she’s going to lose her one true love again.
Friday August 23
Amy is frustrated when Toyah and Nick return to the bistro, telling them how she’s been run off her feet in their absence.
Her attitude leaves Nick livid as he reminds Amy that it’s her job to work at the bistro but Amy claps back, telling him that she’s being taken advantage of, with Rowan having clearly got in her head.
In tense scenes, Amy quits!
