Coronation Street double exit ‘sealed’ as cobbles favourites ‘start new life together’
Coronation Street icons Stu Carpenter and Yasmeen Nazir's lives are set to change for good when his granddaughter Eliza announces her plans to move to Germany with her dad
Two beloved Coronation Street favourites may be set to say goodbye to the famous cobbles, according to AI.
Over the past few years, ITV fans have been gripped by the will-they, won’t-they relationship between Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelly King). Last year, the couple finally made things official and started dating much to viewers’ relief.
But that doesn’t mean it’s been plain sailing for the happy couple. And their romance is set to be pushed to the limits this week when his granddaughter Eliza announced she wants to move to Germany with her dad Dom.
While the youngster excitedly starts practicing German ahead of the big trip, Yasmeen and Stu are devastated at the thought of her leaving the cobbles for good. Finally, her doting grandfather admits that he’d be selfish not to let the teenager visit him in Germany.
After a tense discussion, the pair agreed to let Eliza do a trial run overseas across the Easter break before making any permanent decisions. It’s fair to say fans have shared their concerns over the impact it will have on Stu and Yasmeen.
But Eliza may not be the only one looking to start afresh. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent ‘creative’ tools, Gemini, to see what will happen when the teenager leaves the street.
When asked if the pair could transform their lives together without the responsibility of looking after Eliza, it suggested: “It is certainly possible for Yasmeent and Stu to start a new life together on Coronation Street.”
The program went on to point out three reasons why their lives could improve for the better after this major family change. The first is the couple’s ever-growing connection over the past few months.
It explained: “They’ve grown close and seem to genuinely care for each other. Stu’s support for Yasmeen during a different time indicates a strong foundation for a relationship.”
The system went on to outline the hurdles the pair have overcome in recent months. Gemini pointed out: “They’ve both been through challenging experiences.
“Yasmeen’s ordeal with Geoff and Stu’s past with alcoholism could make them even more understanding and supportive of each other. Starting anew together on Coronation Street could symbolise a new chapter in their lives.”
The AI program noted that although the decision is ultimately up to ITV writers, they couple are certainly overdue a bit of good news. It gushed: “Based on their connection and the potential for a fresh start, there’s a chance they could start a new life together.”
Viewers will have to stay tuned to see if Stu and Yasmeen will leave the soap too or whether they will transform their lives on the ITV cobbles.
