Coronation Street favourite fights back against shock forced exit
The star's fate is no longer in his hands
A CORONATION Street star fought back against a shocking forced exit.
Liam McCheyne opened up about the major exit dilemma his character Dylan Wilson faced.
In recent events, Dylan’s mum, Violet Wilson, returned after finding out that Dylan and Mason Radcliffe had been bullying Liam Connor.
She adamantly pushed for Dylan to relocate to London with her.
On next week’s episode of the soap, Dylan’s dad, Sean Tully, asks Violet to let Dylan stay in Weatherfield with him.
Dylan himself has been hesitant to leave and wants to stay to make amends.
dYLANAbout his character, Liam told Digital Spy: “At the end of the day, Dylan is a good kid at heart and really wants to fix things.
“He’s just been led down a bad path, which happens frequently, but people can come back round. Dylan has run away too many times and now he’s focused on making things right.”
Liam believes that moving away from Mason isn’t the best decision.
He said: “Dylan want to stand up to Mason.
“Of course he’s going to be intimidated and scared of him, that’s not going to change overnight, but he has to stand up for himself and Liam now.
“At this point, he knows what Liam is going through and this has really opened Dylan’s eyes and made him step back and think ‘wow, we really have dragged you through hell’. He’s done something wrong, so it’s time he makes it right.”
But Dylan’s fate and Liam’s time on Corrie is still undecided as it’s up to his on-screen mum to decide whether he stays in Weatherfield or not.
