Coronation Street hints at new love interest for Sarah Platt as she makes huge decision
Corrie fans have said the character has had "more men than hot dinners"
CORONATION Street has hinted at a new love interest for Sarah Platt as she makes a huge decision.
Sarah – played by Tina O’Brien – split from husband Adam Barlow last year after having an affair with bad boy Damon Hay.
Sarah and Damon decided to give things a go earlier this year but their romance came to a sudden end when he was arrested and imprisoned.
In recent weeks, Sarah has been spending time with her ex, Gary Windass, which has lead to trouble for him in his marriage to Maria Connor.
But it seems a new romance could be on the horizon if Coronation Street spoilers are anything to go by, which will leave some fans in despair considering they already think she’s had “more men than hot dinners”.
Sarah has been beside herself with worry about daughter Bethany after the man who groomed her as a teen – Nathan Curtis – returned to Weatherfield after being released from prison.
Bethany is convinced Nathan is behind Lauren Bolton’s disappearance but in upcoming episodes, she reaches breaking point and threatens to leave the Cobbles once again.
Desperate to help her daughter, Sarah makes a bold move to try and get rid of him for good by framing him for the crime.
Having confronted Nathan beside his van, Sarah decides to return with a plastic bag containing Lauren’s hair bobble, found in her things that she left at the Platts.
Kit – the new police officer who also happens to be Bernie Winter‘s estranged son – catches Sarah in the act.
She’s forcedr to admit she was planning to plant the hair bobble in Nathan’s van to prove he murdered Lauren.
Kit urges her to let the police do their job, before searching the van andfinding some USB sticks.
Kit arrests Nathan on suspicion of breaching his sexual harm prevention order.
Later in the week, Sarah asks Kit what they found in Nathan’s van.
When Kit reveals it’s one of Lauren’s hairs and suggests she must have dropped it, he promises to keep her name out of it.
Is there something brewing between Sarah and the handsome copper?
