Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) has been left heartbroken in Coronation Street following Dylan and Violet Wilson’s (Liam McCheyne and Jenny Platt) departure.

Dylan has been wrapped up in a bullying scandal for months after being peer pressured by evil Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) to victimise defenceless Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).

In a horrifying twist, Mason wielded a knife at poor Liam – but then planted the weapon on Dylan.

Having been charged with being in possession of a bladed article, Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) wondered whether his mum Violet, who has been living away from the street since 2008, had been notified.

Dylan told her that she was on holiday in Tenerife and couldn’t attend the hearing.

She dealt a further blow when she ordered Sean, who has been her lodger for over twenty years, to find new accommodation amongst fears of more trouble being brought to her door.

In tonight’s (20th March) episode, Dylan pleaded guilty in court, much to Sean’s horror, and was handed a community service order.

Back at No. 11, having been contacted by Eileen, Violet awaited their return.

She fumed at Sean for his lousy parenting and placed the blame on him – ordering Dylan back to London to live with her.

Unable to be talked round, Violet climbed into a taxi heading for the train station with her son in tow.

Noticing how emotional Sean was, Eileen told him that he could continue living with her for the foreseeable as he needed his family around him.

We know that Jenny Platt has recorded a number of episodes as Violet, could she have a change of heart before heading back to the capital?
