Coronation Street Kit’s next move exposed – and it’s not looking good for one couple
Coronation Street spoilers for next week reveal that newcomer Kit Green has an ulterior motive as he becomes embroiled in a new plan as he flirts with Daisy Midgeley and moves into the Rovers
Coronation Street has dropped some intriguing hints about the next move of newcomer Kit Green.
Bernie Winter recently discovered she’d been duped by her long-lost son Kit, who she reunited with after decades apart. Kit is still bitter about his mother abandoning him and has tried to turn her other children, Gemma Winter and Paul Foreman, against her. Earlier this year, Kit, a police officer, planted missing Lauren Bolton’s DNA to frame Nathan Curtis, leading to his arrest, while the real culprit Joel Deering remains free.
On Monday night, Kit secretly teamed up with criminal Sid and his dodgy counterfeit T-shirt business, promising to keep quiet as long as he gets half the profits. Next week’s spoilers reveal more mystery surrounding Kit as he moves into Glenda Shuttleworth’s old room at the Rovers pub, realising it’s a hotbed of gossip that could be useful. Later in the week, as he settles into the Rovers, he decides to flirt with Daisy Midgeley.
Meanwhile, Daisy’s love interest, Ryan Connor, is taken with Kit’s vinyl collection and suggests they go out for a drink. What are Kit’s intentions towards Daisy and Ryan, and why has he moved into the Rovers?, reports the Mirror.
In the upcoming episodes, Paul, who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), is left disappointed when Kit doesn’t show up for a family dinner. Later on, Paul tries to persuade Kit to forgive Bernie for the sake of the family through a heartfelt message.
However, Kit stubbornly refuses. But when Paul suddenly finds himself gasping for air, Kit is thrown into a state of panic. Meanwhile, viewers are suspecting that Kit might be secretly assisting the evil Joel. Fans will remember that Lauren made a surprising return last month as actress Cait Fitton reprised her role.
Weeks after being brutally attacked by Joel, an incident still unknown to the residents of Weatherfield, Lauren, who was presumed dead, was revealed to be alive. She visited Roy Cropper in the hospital following his heart attack and wrongful imprisonment for her ‘murder’.
The drama escalated when Joel confronted Lauren at the hospital, forcing her into a family room and begging her not to disclose what transpired. As the violent and wicked Joel prepared to strike again, Lauren shielded her stomach, revealing she was five months pregnant with his child in a shocking twist before escaping from the hospital.
Corrie enthusiasts have been left gobsmacked as Joel’s twisted plot thickens, with him keeping Lauren hidden away in a vacant flat while he plots her move to Ireland. But the real shocker came when Joel was caught googling “What drugs can induce premature labour”.
In a recent turn of events, Lauren faced terror when she was mugged and then collapsed in the flat, her newborn now fighting for life in an incubator.
