Coronation Street Lauren’s killer true identity ‘revealed’ as fans expose ‘mad theory’
Coronation Street viewers are convinced they've worked out who killed missing Lauren Bolton after police officer Kit Green made a shocking move as the search for the teenager continues
Coronation Street has dropped another huge hint at the identity of Lauren Bolton’s “killer”.
The teenager (played by Cait Fitton) has been missing for months and Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is currently behind bars with police under the impression she has been murdered.
In recent scenes, Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) was determined to link her daughter Bethany Platt’s (Lucy Fallon) groomer Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) to Lauren’s mysterious disappearance and possible murder.
Sarah hatched a plan to frame Nathan for Lauren’s disappearance, attempting to plant a hair tie containing Lauren’s DNA in Nathan’s van. However, she was caught red-handed by police officer Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), who reprimanded her and warned that her actions were not aiding the investigation.
After searching his van and discovering some USB sticks, Kit arrested Nathan on suspicion of breaching his sexual harm prevention order. Could Kit’s involvement in Nathan’s sudden arrest suggest ulterior motives?
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Don’t say that Kit’s got Lauren and he’s pinning it on Nathan????? #Corrie.” Another added: “Do we see Kit planting the evidence on Nathan? #Corrie.” A third person said: “Mad theory but… Kit involved in Lauren’s disappearance? #coronationstreet #Corrie.” A fourth social media user said: “So did kit/christopher/zodiac plant the hair in the van #Corrie.”
Kit was introduced to viewers as Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost son last month and actor Jacob Roberts has expressed his excitement about joining the iconic soap: “It’s absolutely amazing to be joining the cast of Coronation Street.
“When I walked on set for the first time it felt a bit overwhelming because the attention to detail is just incredible, it actually makes you feel that you are on a real street. My mum and dad are really chuffed too which is lovely.”
