Coronation Street spoilers – Sarah Platt’s world rocked as she discovers the shocking truth about Damon Hay

Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) perfect little world is about to fall to pieces in Coronation Street as she learns of Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) dirty little secret.

When Damon returned at the start of the year, he was adamant he wanted to prove to Sarah that he had changed.

Sarah decided to give him another chance and got back with Damon, but planning their future together has been impacted thanks to his criminal brother Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).

Recently in the ITV soap, Sarah learnt of Adam’s (Sam Robertson) plan to get rid of Damon by working with his brother.

Adam pulled out of the deal last minute after his guilt overwhelmed him. Following a hit and run that put Adam in hospital, he confessed everything to Sarah, thinking she’d be grateful and appreciate him looking out for her and Harry, but she was disgusted and resumed her relationship with Damon instead.

As Sarah spends time daydreaming about the day she owns a posh house with Damon, she remains unaware that he’s agreed to a deal with Harvey to earn some money.

Coming up, it’s Harry’s birthday and after opening his presents, he thanks Damon for the new VR headset. Damon apologises for not being about to come to Harry’s party, clearing prepared to attend the robbery for his brother.

Later, when Sarah talks to Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) about the job he’s doing for Damon, she quickly realises he’s been lying to her.

But how will Damon get out of this one?

In this new video, we see the moment Damon follows Sarah back to the flat for a confrontation.

She’s furious about Damon’s lies, so he confesses that Harvey wants him for a ‘favour’, and Sarah is devastated.

But can they move forward after this, or will things be over between them?
