Coronation Street spoilers: Sinister twist as teen goes missing while Tracy’s sex scandal is exposed
It’s very hard to be a teenager in Coronation Street and agony for some of the younger residents continues in next week’s episodes.
In the wake of researching ways to take his own life, Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) is supported by mum Maria (Samia Longchambon) and when he bravely opens up to the doctor, he is referred – but the waiting list brings about bad news.
And nasty bully Mason (Luca Toolan) is still swaggering about. When he makes a pointed dig about Liam, Gary Windass (Mikey North) can’t hold in his fury.
Meanwhile, Dylan (Liam McCheyne) can’t escape punishment for his role either, as Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) is reeling to discover his son’s role in the bullying.
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, struggling Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) has opened up about her explicit videos and financial state and, after losing her job too, she vanishes.
With the door open but Lauren nowhere to be seen, there’s a real sense that she is in serious danger…

As an exhausted Maria watches over Liam while he sleeps, she calls the doctor and demands an urgent appointment. Liam opens up to Dr Gaddas, admitting his life had become so unbearable that he just wanted to end it.
Dr Gaddas tells Maria that she’s referring Liam to a mental health unit but there’s a long waiting list so in the meantime she must keep a close eye on him. Meanwhile when Mason goads Gary, telling him that Liam needs to watch his back, Gary sees red and throws him to the ground.
Sean dashes over and threatens to report Gary to the police. Determined to clear Dylan’s name, Sean demands he hands over his phone. As Sean scrolls through Dylan’s messages, a look of horror appears on his face.
As Joel leaves a loved up Dee-Dee’s flat, a receipt falls from his wallet. Dee-Dee sees it’s from a jeweller’s, dated December and Joel clearly spent a lot of money.
Joel calls at the solicitors to find Dee-Dee, Adam and Alya discussing the receipt. When Joel makes out he bought himself some cufflinks, Alya jokes about his expensive taste.
As Alya later heads out she spots Joel in a car being driven by a sullen looking woman. Alya watches, her suspicions mounting.
