Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn confirms romance as she goes ‘Instagram official’ with TV star
Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn has confirmed her romance with former Towie star Ricky Rayment.
The Sinead Tinker actress, 30 and the reality star, 32, were recently spotted out and about in Essex.
In one snap the pair, who have reportedly been seeing each other for four months, were seen holding hands and sharing a kiss.
And now the pair went Instagram official on Valentine’s Day with a joint post of them loved up.
‘Every day is like Valentine’s Day with you,’ they both penned to each other.
Fans rushed to gush over the couple with @kirstyemartinmua replying: ‘So beyond happy for you both.’
A source told The Sun: ‘They very much looked like girlfriend and boyfriend. They were holding hands, having a laugh and even had a little kiss as they walked amongst other Saturday afternoon shoppers.’
Katie played Sinead on Coronation Street between 2013 and 2020.
Following her departure, she joined Hollyoaks as scheming Becky Quentin, playing the character for a year.
The soap star also competed in the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Gorka Marquez.
During the 2022 TRIC Awards she said she had an exciting year coming up with plenty of projects in the pipeline, telling the Sun Online, ‘I’ve got a lot of projects but I still can’t say for definite yet, but it’s going to be an exciting year. I have never planned my career.
‘I just love working. I want to stick with TV, Netflix, film. I would love to do anything to do with stage. At the moment I want to stick to drama and Netflix type stuff.’
