Coronation Street ‘work out’ shocking death on the cobbles which will throw a family into disarray
CORONATION Street fans think they’ve sussed out a shock death which would turn a family’s lives upside down.
Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) recently returned to the cobbles after three years away.
This time, she is accompanied by her young son, Dorin – with fans having learned the boy’s father is Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).
Despite Alina’s comeback, viewers believe she has a grim fate ahead of her – including being terrorised by menacing phone calls.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan wrote: “They’re 100% gonna kill off Alina and leave Dorin to be raised In that hovel aren’t they #corrie.”
Another added: I reckon this gang will frighten Alina off or she’ll end up in hospital thus how Dorin will end up in Tyrone’s care for the foreseeable future #Corrie #CoronationStreet @itvcorrie.”
A third commented: “I am BEGGING the #corrie writers to let Alina live!
“The last thing we need is another member of the Dead Young Mums Club.”
While a fourth chimed in: “Yep! Definitely little Dorin is going to live with in Tyrone’s Tardis along with the other twenty five people #Corrie.”
Could Tyrone’s household be about to gain a member?
If this storyline played out, it would cause significant drama for Tyrone’s family.
His wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine), daughter Ruby (Billie Naylor) and step-daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) already have history with Alina.
Before they got married in 2022, Tyrone previously left Fiz to be with Alina.
During this time, she fell pregnant but tragically lost the baby following a fire caused by Fiz’s daughter Hope.
Later on, Alina became pregnant with Tyrone’s child again.
However, the younger woman was left heartbroken when the mechanic revealed he wanted to reunite with Fiz.
But when leaving the cobbles in 2021, she claimed there was no baby after all and departed the ITV soap.
Fiz was first to suspect Dorin could be Tyrone’s son, after unexpectedly encountering her former love rival – and seeing a picture of the boy.
She made sure to let Tyrone know that he had possibly fathered a son.
Later, Alina admitted that he was indeed Dorin’s dad – but could Tyrone be about to take an increased role in his life?
