Coronation Street’s Dee-Dee Bailey to confront Adam Barlow over Harvey secret
How much does she know?
Coronation Street‘s Dee-Dee Bailey will question Adam Barlow next week about her suspicions that he is hiding a secret about criminal Harvey Gaskell.
And she’s right.
Harvey is in prison for killing Natasha Blakeman, but Adam has made a deal with him – he’ll try to win an appeal if Harvey gets rid of his brother, Damon Hay.
Harvey and Adam have agreed with a man named John Perry, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, that John will claim responsibility for Natasha’s murder.
News of the surprise development will hit the cobbles next week.
In scenes due to air on ITV on Thursday, February 29 and Friday, March 1, a family liaison officer calls round to see Nick Tilsley, informing him that another man has come forward and claimed to have killed Natasha.
And Harvey is now planning an appeal.
When horrified Nick and Leanne Battersby tell Damon and Sarah Barlow about Harvey’s appeal, Damon suggests Harvey must be paying someone to take the fall for him.
Later in the week, Nick tells Dee-Dee about Harvey’s appeal and says he’s worried about the son he shared with Natasha, Sam Blakeman.
Dee-Dee asks him for all the details and promises to look into it.
She returns to the office and, looking Adam straight in the eye, asks him if he’s working on Harvey’s appeal.
Will Adam reveal the truth?
This isn’t the only drama that Dee-Dee is dealing with at the moment, as this week sees her discover the shocking truth about her boyfriend Joel Deering.
After behaving oddly, Joel confesses he actually has a secret wife and child, leaving Dee-Dee horrified that her partner has been lying to her.
