Corrie Sarah Barlow’s new lover on soap ‘revealed’ – and it’s ‘another bad boy’
Coronation Street fans are convinced they've 'rumbled' Sarah Barlow's new love interest following a slew of failed relationships
Corrie fans think they’ve worked out Sarah Barlow’s next love interest will be.
Tina O’Brien, who has been gracing the ITV soap as Sarah since 1999, has seen her character through a rollercoaster of storylines, including a jaw-dropping teen pregnancy and a string of romantic disasters.
Sarah’s life on the street has been anything but dull, with the past year throwing her love life into chaos. Soap buffs will remember her torrid affair with Weatherfield’s rogue Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths), which saw her betray her hubby Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
The illicit fling was kept under wraps for a spell, but it wasn’t long before Adam stumbled upon their secret, reports the Express.
Post-affair, Sarah’s been flying solo, yet fans are buzzing with predictions that she’ll soon be wrapped up in another romance. A major hint dropped on social media has them convinced she’s set to fall for “another bad boy”.
Flashback to when Sarah attempted to frame paedophile Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) by planting evidence in his van linked to Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance.
Caught red-handed by newbie copper Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), Sarah spilled the beans. Instead of reprimanding her, Kit showed understanding and advised her to leave matters to the police.
Sarah was gobsmacked when she discovered that Nathan had been nicked for Lauren’s murder, all thanks to the dodgy evidence Kit found in his van. Kit vowed to protect Sarah even though he knew she’d been snooping around.
Now, telly addicts are convinced that sparks will fly between Sarah and Kit. On a Reddit thread, one viewer speculated: “Does anyone think Sarah will ultimately end up with Kit? If you’re a bad boy, she’s pretty much a sure thing.”
Another chimed in: “Quite possibly. They already have a connection with the planted evidence.” And a third fan demanded: “Petition for Sarah and Kit to get together.”
