ITV Coronation Street affair ‘sealed’ for Nick and Toyah as fans spot huge clue

Coronation Street fans believe an affair is on the cards for two characters on the ITV soap.

Toyah Battersby and Nick Tilsley could be set for a fling if viewers are correct, after fans believed they’d spotted some clues. Toyah was seen confiding in Nick in the latest episode after she lashed out at a group of people digging in the park.

The secret Toyah has hidden for decades will come out this week, with Nick being the one she turns to. Prior to that, Monday’s episode saw her and sister Leanne Battersby turning on each other once more over newcomer Rowan Cunliffe.

As Leanne fumed about her sister, Nick knew something was up after Toyah smashed up a car. She was called in for questioning by the police over her behaviour too, with it clear something was wrong.

Nick spoke with her amid Leanne being distracted, and tried to get to the bottom of what was going on. As they got closer, fans shared their thoughts on whether we could expect an affair from the pair.

Amid Leanne and Nick no doubt set to grow apart amid her seeking advice from charming Rowan, amid a cult storyline developing on the soap, could Nick end up turning to Toyah? Viewers thing this will be the case, especially as spoilers confirmed Toyah will confide in him about something that happened to her years earlier.

Taking to X, fans theorised that Toyah and Nick would end up having an affair. One fan posted: “A Nick and Toyah affair is about to happen i fear.”
