ITV Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Lauren in shock collapse as Joel ‘exposed’
Coronation Street will air some big scenes next week when pregnant Lauren ends up collapsing whilst Joel could finally be exposed as Dee-Dee intercepts his package
Coronation Street fans will no doubt still be reeling from the revelation that Lauren is alive – but things get worse for her next week.
The teenager – who is expecting Joel’s baby – ends up collapsing and is rushed to hospital, whilst Joel finds himself under suspicion when he acts cagey around Dee-Dee. Things only get worse for him when he realises a parcel he ordered has been intercepted by his fiancé, will she finally find out the truth about what he’s been doing?
It’s not a good week for Fiz either when she learns that Tyrone’s former flame Alina could be back on the Cobbles to testify against the people who trafficked her into the country, whilst a fire breaks out in Stefan’s office and Abi is put in the frame as the culprit.
Fire horror
Next week on the ITV soap, things go from bad to worse for Abi. When Stefan calls and asks Kevin for a meeting so they can end their feud, he heads over to the house and Jack lets him in, unaware who Stefan is and lets him wait for his dad to come back.
Abi is under suspicion
Later, Kevin watches a news report about a fire at Stefan’s office – but who has caused it? DS Swain is adamant to investigate what’s happened and both Kevin and Abi are taken in for questioning. It seems like Abi is responsible, given that there’s doorbell evidence of her at Stefan’s house, whilst Kevin also suspects her. But is there more to this than meets the eye or is she responsible?
Joel exposed
Despite all that Joel’s done, the rest of the street have yet to find out what he did to Lauren. He is still trying to keep things going with Dee-Dee, and next week, he warns her to watch their wedding budget as his divorce is quite costly.
Dee-Dee is thrilled when Joel brings Maeve to the flat and she gets to see him being a dad. When Lauren sends an SOS text about a leak in the flat, Joel has to take Maeve with him as Dee-Dee is heading out to court.
Later in the week, Dee-Dee takes a delivery in for Joel, assuming it’s a gift for her from him. However, when the address says ‘E. Smith’, she’s puzzled. Joel panics when he gets a voice note from Dee-Dee that she’s got his parcel.

Return teased
Alina Pop could make a return soon, if a mention of Tyrone’s ex is anything to go by. Next week, Fiz is left surprised to find out that Alina – who Tyrone famously ran off with before eventually getting back with Fiz – could be back in the UK soon to give evidence in a trial against the leader of a human trafficking group – but will Alina return?
Lauren collapses
Lauren ends up collapsing in shocking scenes on Coronation Street next week. She ends up being mugged at the precinct and Max is there to support her. Joel, meanwhile, feigns concern as he plans to get her out of Weatherfield for good.
When she’s alone, Lauren ends up doubling over in pain and clutches her stomach. She’s terrified she’s losing the baby and when Max tracks her down, she screams out for him to help – as she’s worried this could be it.
