ITV Coronation Street’s Carla Connor’s revenge ‘rumbled’ as Daisy and Jenny exposed

Coronation Street viewers could see Carla Connor take revenge as she works out a shocking betrayal.

The latest episode of the ITV soap saw the character seemingly work out the truth about her missing money, and Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley using it to buy The Rovers pub. Killer Stephen Reid had stolen the money out of the accounts of Carla’s factory last year before his death.

After Stephen’s scam, Carla was unable to get the money back as Stephen had used colleague Michael’s details to make the transfer. In the fallout, Daisy worked out where Stephen had stored the money but kept it a secret, also stealing his diary to look for login details to access the accounts.

Instead of telling Carla about the money, she and Stephen’s ex Jenny kept the money for themselves and used it to buy The Rovers after Jenny was unable to afford it initially. After the famous pub faced being destroyed after being sold, Jenny was able to save it and get it back using the money.

Of course they had to lie about where the money came from to stop anyone growing suspicious, and as far as Carla was aware the money was gone for good. She’s managed to get her factory back on track in the aftermath, while she never got the thousands of pounds back she lost.

But on Tuesday night, fans saw her seemingly work out the truth after her nephew Ryan Connor spilled all about the drama between Daisy and rival Bethany Platt. Stephen’s great-niece Bethany has long been suspicious over the money and Daisy suddenly splashing the cash.

In the latest episode she went snooping around the back of the pub and found Stephen’s diary, containing a lot of information. Bethany realised Daisy likely had access to the accounts and had taken the money, using it to buy the pub.

When Bethany confronted Daisy and accused her of this, her partner Daniel Osbourne and Daisy’s partner Ryan did not believe her. But when Ryan dropped the drama on Carla that evening, it was clear she was now questioning if she was right.

Now, fans believe Carla will be on the warpath and take revenge against Jenny and Daisy for their betrayal. Taking to X, one fan posted: “Jenny and Daisy aren’t going to know what’s hit them when Carla confronts them – been long overdue that we see Carla’s strong feisty side.”

Another fan agreed: “Carla is gonna rip Daisy and Jenny to pieces.” A third dan wrote: “Can’t wait for Hurricane Carla to hit the pub,” as a fourth viewer said: “Carla is gonna be on the warpath. Be afraid, be VERY afraid.”
