ITV Coronation Street’s Dee-Dee tipped for major Joel discovery after sinister threat
Coronation Street’s Dee-Dee Bailey will set out to expose Joel Deering it seems next week on the ITV soap.
She does some digging into his past amid him escaping justice over his crimes on the cobbles. It finally came out recently that Joel was the one who attacked and nearly killed Lauren Bolton.
Joel had coerced Lauren into a sexual relationship, grooming her and giving her money and gifts before turning violent. When Lauren wanted to end things he attacked her, with Lauren going into hiding.
Juts weeks ago Lauren’s fate was confirmed and fans learned she was pregnant with Joel’s baby. Lauren recently went into premature labour after being drugged by sick Joel, with her baby son now in hospital.
Amid DS Swain trying to bring Joel down, upcoming scenes will see him released due to a lack of evidence. It seems as he threatens Lauren once more, Joel’s ex Dee-Dee Bailey will be desperate to expose him, leading to a possible discovery.

Weeks before what was meant to be their wedding day, Dee-Dee will do some digging into Joel’s past. As Joel threatens Lauren, Dee-Dee takes matters into her own hands and reports him to Swain.
She then learns that Joel used to work for a firm called Walcotts, who specialise in helping vulnerable young people. Dee-Dee wonders if this could be a clue to his past crimes, and what he’s been up to prior to his time in Weatherfield.
As she does some digging, what will she find and will it be the evidence needed to finally bring Joel down? It’s teased she could find some dirt on him from his past, but viewers will have to wait and see when the scenes air next week.
Dee-Dee isn’t the only one intent on exposing the real Joel next week, with Carla Connor also taking a moment to confront him. She shouts out in front of a room full of people at a hotel that Joel is a woman-beater who tried to murder Lauren, but how will he react and will he end up targeting the show favourite for getting involved?
