Major twist as hospital horror confirmed for Adam in Coronation Street spoiler video

Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) has put himself in serious danger in recent Coronation Street scenes by teaming up with notorious gangster Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), in a bid to try and get Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) off the scene.

Adam has been infuriated by Damon’s return to the cobbles, and even more devastated to see his relationship with Adam’s ex Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) absolutely flourishing.

In a bid to get rid of Damon, Adam turned to his brother, Harvey, for help – promising to help him appeal his murder charge in exchange for his efforts.

Harvey soon agreed to the terms, but warned Adam that there would be serious consequences if he didn’t deliver.

In upcoming scenes, Adam pays Harvey a visit to run through his grounds for appeal.

Viewers will be aware that Harvey is currently serving a long sentence after shooting Natasha Blakeman, having mistaken her for Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).

However, Adam informs his client that the only way they can be sure of success is if they find a way to pin the murder on someone else.

Later, Adam receives a call from Harvey revealing that a man named John Perry (Ian Peck) is willing to take the rap for his crime, and Adam soon manages to track him down to Weatherfield General, as a new video spoiler shows.

Adam approaches the reception desk, believing that John is an employee at the hospital.

However, he is shocked to learn that he is actually a patient, undergoing cancer treatment.

After learning who John really is, will Adam be able to go through with the plan?
