Shock exit in Coronation Street spoiler video as favourite makes decision to leave

Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) surprises Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as she reveals her plans to leave.

This week, Bobby (Jack Carroll) was left incredibly concerned after spotting bruises on Lauren’s shoulder. The bruises were black and blue so it was clear they hadn’t been there long, but a worried Lauren failed to tell Bobby what was going on, and instead pretended that she injured herself falling down the stairs.

As Bobby headed home, he bumped into Sabrina (Luana Santos) and Max (Paddy Bever). They all shared their fears about Lauren and concluded something sinister was going on, they just couldn’t work out what.

After putting forward possible reasons behind Lauren’s trouble – her ex-boyfriend, in-person sex work, and even Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) – Bobby, Max and Sabrina accepted there wasn’t really anything they could do until Lauren reaches out, or they discover something else.

Sadly, it looks as though revealing the truth is the last thing on her mind, as this new video shows the moment Lauren announces she’s departing Weatherfield.

After stopping Lauren’s shifts at the café, Roy (David Neilson) pops by the flat to give her a pay packet.

He offers to help her find another job, but Lauren talks about how she’s ‘reached the end of the line’ after letting everyone down.

Troubled and terribly lost Lauren tells Roy that it’ll do her some good to start again somewhere else, because no-one will no her and she won’t carry ‘any baggage’.

Roy apologises to Lauren and says his goodbye.

In upcoming scenes, Bobby will also pay a visit to Lauren but at this point, she’s already supposedly left for her new life.

The sight of Lauren’s empty flat concerns Bobby, but has she actually moved on?
