A Coronation Street spoiler video has revealed the moment Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) saves Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) from being mowed down by Chesney Brown’s (Sam Aston) car.
The teen will have a near-miss in forthcoming scenes to air on the ITV soap, with his former school bully being the unlikely person to save him.
As Corrie fans know, Mason previously made Liam’s life a misery, relentlessly tormenting him in and out of school.
The ordeal had a huge impact on Liam, who was left feeling suicidal.
While Mason was later sent to young offenders for threatening Liam with a knife, Liam was left terrified again when his tormentor was released back in July.
Since then, the pair have managed to maintain a distance from one another, as Mason has tried to turn over a new leaf since his release.
Coming up on Friday, Mason comes to Liam’s rescue when he stops him from absentmindedly wandering into the path of Chesney’s oncoming car.
Our spoiler video from the episode reveals how this prompts Mason to give an honest apology for all he’s put Liam through, assuring him he’s a changed person.
However, their exchange is witnessed by a concerned Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin), who soon informs Liam’s stepdad Gary Windass (Mikey North).
What will happen when Gary takes matters into his own hands?
