There’s nothing quite like a good Corrie wedding, and marriage now looks like it’s on the cards for one of the Street’s most popular couples.
Having been together on and off for years now, Beth Tinker (Lisa George) is set on taking the next big step in her relationship with Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment).
In forthcoming scenes on the ITV soap, Kirk’s sister Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) stumbles upon Beth’s secret plan to surprise Kirk with a wedding.
But factory worker Beth is soon flummoxed when she flicks through wedding magazines at Underworld and laments the expense of getting married.
As fans know, Beth has recently been covertly manufacturing counterfeit goods at the factory after hours, recently letting Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) in on the scheme.
With Beth struggling for cash as it is, Betsy suggests they need to do more work on their side hustle to help her fund the wedding.
Long-term fans will remember that Beth and Kirk did previously walk down the aisle back in 2015, but their marriage was deemed void as her ex-husband Darryl Parkins (Paul Loughran) revealed they were still technically married at the time.
But with actress Lisa George long-rumoured to be leaving t’cobbles, will Beth and Kirk ever actually become proper husband and wife?
